Baby Scrapbook Done!

Just celebrating a bit because I've finished a project (one at least!) Since about December 2005 I have been doing a scrapbook with Emma's baby photos. For those who don't really know what scrapbooking is it's about putting photos together, journalling and the whole idea is to leave a legacy... Emma's baby scrapbook is huge - it is yet to be seen whether the album will hold! But it's been great fun and I'm glad to have finished her first one - already she loves sitting and looking at it. I've already started her toddler scrapbook which will hopefully show ages 1-3years. I do enjoy this hobbie (expensive and sometimes frustrating) but when Emma's asleep on a Sunday afternoon it is a real treat for me.

Anyone for Macaroni?

The next Jamie Oliver maybe? Kept Em busy for ages while I was preparing dinner one night last week. The pretend play is becoming important. Yesterday we even played shops - I set up the lounge especially for her and we had a ball using good old Monopoly money. I am so loving this age/stage - long may it continue....

Welcome Kaleb!

Good News... Wee baby Kaleb William Ross Parker made his way into the world on Sunday night at 6.30. Weighing in at 7lbs 13oz. He is completely lovely and cuddly - newborns have to be one of the most beautiful sights in the world! We got to meet him nice and early for a fleeting visit on Sunday night and then yesterday we spent more time with him. Emma is very excited to have a cousin on this side of the world. Emma has been calling him Elmo since Christmas time so it will be interesting to see whether that continues.... But now for some pics...
